What seeds varities can I choose from?
We have seven seeds varities you can choose from. They include:
- Native Swan River daisy
- Native Bottlebrush
- Forget-me-not
- Wildflower mix
- Chamomile
- Herb mix
- Lettuce Mix
How long do seeded cards keep?
Our seeded paper is will last a long time, 24 months or more! Similar to live seeds, the seed paper should be stored in a cool, dry and dark place to maximise its longevity.
Can I send cards to all states in Australia?
Yes, all seed varieties are chosen to be able to be sent to all states and territories. We have biosecurity clearance for sending seed to Tasmania and the customer will not incur a Biosecurity fee. However, for WA customers their may be fees involved if inspection is carried out at the border. All our [packages are ladled into both Tasmania and WA are labelled according to biosecurity protocols.
Can you tell me about shipping?
All our cards are sent via tracked Australia post Shipping. Australia post shipping is usually 1-2 business days for metro, 3-4 for regional. This can vary depending on time of year and location.
We offer both standard and express shipping options.

Do you custom print cards?
Yes. We have a dedicated custom print team member that will handle your project from time of order to distach and post sales care. Please be in touch to arrange custom printed cards. Please note: print file must be approved in writing before we run any prints.
Print file: Ready to print PDF or PNG.
logo: to add your logo we must receive this as a PNG file.
How do I plant my card?
- Choose a sunny or partial shaded spot in either your garden bed or a patio pot.
- Soak your card (tear up if you would like to plant in multiple locations)
- Place under a thin layer of soil
- Keep moist
- germination should take 7 – 21 days depending on seed species.
How long do custom print orders take to prepare?
At Sympathy Sown we understand the importance of timely responses. We aim to prepare all orders in 5 business days from time of artwork approval.
